Nick Allen

Only takes part in shorter running events nowadays, such as Parkruns, road running up to 10km, and cross country races. Coordinates the club's monthly handicap race. Currently (2023/4) the club's chairman.

Andy Dunmall
I've been running for 17 years or thereabouts, starting when I found myself getting very lazy. I've run all distances from 100m to 26 miles since starting my running journey. My running is very much for fitness now rather than competition; I find it fantastic to go and explore my surroundings and soak up the sounds of the countryside. I've a keen interest in all things musculoskeletal, finding it fascinating how our bodies do what they do.

Simon Hassett
Started running in my 30's to see if I could complete the Reading Half Marathon & after crossing the line plus a week of aching legs and dodgy walking realised, I'd been bitten by the running bug... Over the years I've been fortunate to run in some wonderful places across the globe with distance preference 13.1 miles (21km) and above.

Annette White
I have been running for about 10 years and have been coaching for the same period of time. I joined SDAC after I had sat on the side lines watching my children do their thing with The Panthers. Plus, my sisters were keen runners and were part of this fabulous club. Progression bought me through Assistant Coach for the Panthers, to Coach for them, and then onto Coach for the adults. This is where I am at the moment. And loving every minute of it!
